Job Description:
Applications are invited from eligible candidates in prescribed format for the post of Research Associate (Agriculture), Research Associate (Computer Application) on regular basis in pay scale of Rs. 24000/23000 per month
Vacancies:
Name of Post:> Research Associate (Agriculture)
Pay Scale: —-> Rs. 24000/- per month for Ph.D. holder and Rs. 23000/- per month
for Master Degree
Qualifications:> The candidates in order to be eligible for appointment to the above post shall be:
i) Ph.D. Degree in any discipline of Agriculture/ Animal Sciences/ Fisheries/Agriculture Engineering and allied fields; or M. Sc (Ag) in any discipline of Agriculture/Animal
Sciences/Fisheries/Agricultural Engineering and allied fields with 1st Division and 60% marks at Post Graduate level
ii) 2 years research experience as evidenced from fellowship/associateship/ trainingships and or published papers in standard journals
iii) Desirable: Experience in Computer Applications like MS Office, Database applications and
use of internet
Age:> 40 years for men and 45 years for women

i) 1st class degree in M. Tech/ M.E. in Computer Science/ MCA/ M. Sc in Computer
Science or IT on a regular basis with B. Sc (Computer/ IT/ Maths/Statistics)
ii) 2-year project experience in Management Information System including Financial Management Systems
iii) Desirable: Experience of developing software and use of computers for information
Management especially Database Management and net based applications
Age:> 40 years for men and 45 years for women
